When we first launched Accountable, our mission was clear: make life easier for self-employed professionals by taking the stress out of managing your taxes. Over time, we realized that as your needs evolved, so should we. That’s why we decided to give Accountable a fresh look, one that reflects who we are today and how we can support you even better.

But here’s the thing: this rebrand isn’t just about new colors or a different logo. It’s about making every part of Accountable feel clearer, more cohesive, and focused on what matters most; helping you manage your finances confidently and securely.

Why the change?

We know, from our own experience, that managing your finances can often feel like a weight on your shoulders.

Our goal has always been to make it feel lighter, more approachable, without sacrificing the reliability you need to trust us with your finances. That’s why we’ve focused on creating a seamless experience between the app and web. Over the years, while adding new features, we watched our web and mobile versions develop their own identity. It was time to tidy things up and unify our look. So we can offer that same piece of mind on both platforms, and you can manage your finances wherever you are, without missing a beat.

And while managing your finances is serious work, we believe the tools you use shouldn’t feel heavy. Our refreshed design reflects this balance: it’s welcoming, livelier and clearer, yet still grounded in the integrity you expect from us.

We also prioritized accessibility by improving colors, contrasts and better readability. In this way Accountable works for everyone.

Who’s Aldo?

You might have noticed a new face around here. Meet Aldo, our brand mascot. He’s here to make things simpler and help you getting things ‘all done’. Think of him as a friendly, subtle guide, here to point you in the right direction or give you a helpful nudge when you need it. So you can feel as confident about your finances as he does.

He’s not here to steal the spotlight or complicate things. Instead, Aldo is a simple reminder that Accountable isn’t just about numbers, it’s about making sure you feel supported every step of the way.

With this new style, and Aldo as your sidekick, we’re not just trying to look different. We want to be different: unlike any other finance app, we are a trusted companion who cares deeply about helping you feel confident and supported while getting your finances done right.

So, what’s in it for you?

  • Work smoothly across devices: Whether you’re on your laptop or your phone, it all feels consistent and easy to use.
  • Accessibility for everyone: Improved colors and contrast make everything easier to read and use.
  • A friendly guide at your side: Aldo’s there as a helpful touch, guiding you through when you need it.
  • A fresh, distinct look that grows with you: This approachable design was meticulously crafted for you, to make finances feel more exciting.
  • No change to your favorite features: The tools you rely on are all still here, just clearer.

Built to grow with you.

This rebrand is about making your day-to-day easier, not just today, but as your business grows. It’s about giving you the tools to manage your finances confidently. With less stress, more clarity, and the assurance of a platform that understands the responsibility of being your finance partner.

If you have ideas, feedback, or if there’s something specific in your experience you think we could improve, we’d love to hear from you. Feel free to reach out directly at [email protected].

We’re excited about where this new chapter leads, and we’re always here, building better tools to help you succeed 💜.
