From 2026, all invoicing between Belgian companies must be done via the Peppol network. As a business customer, it would be convenient to start receiving all your energy invoices as e-invoices now. With Eneco, the process is quite simple. Here’s how to proceed.
To receive electronic invoices as a business customer with Eneco, follow these steps:
E-invoicing is not the same as digital invoicing, such as a PDF or a scanned invoice. An e-invoice is a specific XML file sent in UBL format via the Peppol network. 💡Accountable tip: with Accountable, you can register for free with Peppol to send and receive e-invoices via our app. This service is available to all Belgian self-employed professionals, even in the free version. Try Accountable now.
